Kimberly has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2012. She is specialized in cardiology, emergency medicine, functional medicine, vascular health and cosmetics. She has completed additional graduate studies in Human Endocrine Physiology at Harvard University in Boston, Mass as well as Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. She is passionate about balancing all aspects of mind body medicine.
Kimberly lives a fitness and meditative guided lifestyle. She was a Division I ice hockey player for St. Lawrence University in New York. She played for the National Womens Hockey League and was also a member of Team Canada Floorball where she competed in the 2007 World Championships in Frederikshavn, Denmark. She has also served in a volunteer physician role as an NP at the 2015 Pan American Games where she treated the athletes during competition and at Athletes Village.
FEE-FOR-SERVICE
Body Logic Medicine is a private fee-for-service business as Nurse Practitioners are not funded by Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) for our work. When working independently, there is a "fee-for-service" fee because nurse practitioners cannot bill OHIP for the work that he/she does. As a patient you are billed for the time and expertise of the nurse practitioner. By utilizing Body Logic Medicine you are actively participating in relieving the burden on our emergency departments and invaluable emergency nurses and physicians, as well as supporting a small business.
Please note all laboratory tests and diagnostics ordered by our nurse practitioner are covered under OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). You are billed for her expertise and time.
